Seventy-three scholarships and awards were presented to AVC students and faculty in recognition of excellence in academic achievement during AVC’s 2010 Fall Awards and Recognition Night, held on Wednesday, October 6, in the College’s Learning Commons.

Dr.Don Reynolds, Dean of AVC, and Dr. Wendy Duckett, chair of the AVC Scholarship and Awards Committee, praised the students for their academic achievements and expressed their deep appreciation to the donors who support the scholarships and awards presented at the ceremony.

Murray and Hazel Scholarships for academic achievement: (left to right) Robyn Wyr (Class of 2013), Shari Raheb (Class of 2013), Pierre Burke (Class of 2013), Ashley Nolan (Class of 2012), Heather Burrage (Class of 2012), Amber Jameson (Class of 2011), Matt Lemon (Class of 2011), Jessica Cady (Class of 2011) and Nolan Osborne (Class of 2012).
