Issue:
May 2012

This summer, AVC will host a new pilot program from August 5 to 10 for undergraduate students interested in pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. The AVC Summer Academy is a five-day residential program during which students will learn about veterinary medicine as a profession through classroom lectures, field trips, rotations, and hands-on sessions, all of which serve to expose students to the profession of veterinary medicine. Students will also attend sessions on the admission process, financial aid, improving their interview skills, and the financial realities of attending veterinary school. The deadline to register is June 8.
