Improving AVC's facilities

AVC's new CT-scanner
Issue:
December 2012

AVC continues to improve the facilities it offers to clients and to students and faculty. Our new CT-scanner, designed for large and small animals, has been installed in the Large Animal Hospital. The addition of this diagnostic imaging tool expands the services we offer to our clients and our research capability in areas such as bone grafting, orthopedic transplants, and stem-cell healing for large and small animals. As well, during the summer, two outdated lecture theatres were renovated into one comfortable, modern teaching and learning space, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The first class in the new Lecture Theatre A took place in mid-September.
