About us:
The AVC Pet Loss Support Line is staffed by a group of volunteer veterinary students, specially trained by a counselor in the area of pet loss and grief. We are here to offer a nonjudgmental outlet for people to express their feelings when faced with the loss of a beloved and cherished pet.

Veterinary students all over the country have set up hotlines similar to our own, in order to help with this difficult process. Please feel free to inquire about sources of support in addition to our own.
