Members of AVC’s Class of 2013 celebrated their graduation as Doctors of Veterinary Medicine at Convocation on May 10. The previous night, they received their white coats, which signify the achievement of their dream to become veterinarians.  Dr. Jeff Wichtel, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at AVC, presents graduate student Omid Nekouei Jahromi with the Dr. Ian Dohoo Award at the conclusion of AVC's annual Graduate Studies and Research Days event. On May 16 and 17, 22 graduate students presented their research findings on topics covering aquatic and terrestrial animals to human health amd biomedical science.
